The birthday comes, the birthday goes.
Thanks for the Happy Birthday, mate. It is much appreciated.
The birthday was nothing special. I actually have a long standing history of bad birthdays, so this one, with the house over 90 degrees F and a power outage was actually not so bad. I was up at my parents' house, and the whole week has been really good.
My friend Tim is in town for the weekend. That means that we went to Casa Ramos tonight for the best Mexican food on the planet. I got a smaller meal this time, and only finished about 3/5 of it. I ate the last half of a burrito just a few minutes ago. Their food is so amazing, it is incredibly hard to stop eating.
Tonight, the food was the best that I have ever had there. Also, the margarita was delicious and strong.
I've been doing nothing physically to lose weight, and that bothers me. I have had a run of bad luck, plus a long run of being lazy and lame.
I want to talk about some stuff, but it can be hard to talk about, and requires much more attention and time than I am really willing to give at 1 AM. I am quite tired.
Looks like Rachel and I will be going to see the Giants host the Cubs in San Francisco next Thursday. That is baseball for all my foreign readers. Tim Lincecum is a Giants pitcher. Whenever he pitches, for every strikeout he records, bleacher tickets are $1 off for his next start. 14 Strikeouts today meant $4 tickets. And on my day off, too! He's one of my favorite players ever, and this will be my first time seeing him pitch live, as well as our first live game this year. I am super excited.
I am trying to walk more. It is working sometimes. I really need to start using the treadmill at our fitness center. I used to use the bike some. That was pretty good, too.
I took some days off from work this week. In the end, I will have only worked 1 day out of 10, and then will work only 3 before having another 3 off. It is nice and relaxing. I love my job, but even so, a break is always welcome.
I hope you are all doing well. Er... both of you. I am off to brush my teeth and get some sleep.

Now I've gone and done it...
I just returned from shopping. I did something completely abnormal for me.
I bought a shirt that does not fit.
I love it, too. I want to wear it so badly. I'll post a picture soon. So, to wear it, I'll have to lose some weight. Not a ton. Just some.
Something, other than my old clothes that no longer fit, to look forward to. :D

I have had a very busy time lately, which is why I have not been updating. Additionally, there has not been much to update about. I had a good week food-wise at work, not even eating fast food once. Sandwiches all four days! Hooray.
I may be trading in my car very shortly. Perhaps today, even. My car payment is way too high for a car that I just don't drive that much. So, I may be getting a used car, or I might lease a new car. I do not want to get rid of what I have, but it is becoming necessary.
We have been really tight on money the last few months. I hate money. I wish everybody could just afford what they needed, with extra for fun stuff and emergencies and whatnot. But that's not how life is.
